Dear Educator,

It is time to schedule your spring field trip to Spring Meadow Farms. Our field trips are specialized for pre-k, kindergarten, first and second grades. However, we can customize our tours to your curriculum and any age group.

Your educational tour will begin with a walking tour of our farm. Your group will meet the chickens, turkeys, goats, sheep, geese and ponies in our farm zoo. After meeting the animals, the children will experience a short hands-on lesson on seeds and planting. Each child will be transplanting and planting seeds in an 8” pot. The children will get to take home their project. The class will have use of the pedal tractors, kiddie barn and plenty of time to jump in our straw pile.

Feel free to stay an hour or stay the day and enjoy a picnic on the farm! We have picnic areas available for you to bring lunch or snacks. A day at the farm will provide everyone with a wholesome educational experience.

Our educational tours will run Monday through Friday, April 8 through June 14. The cost is $8 per child. There is no charge for teachers or parents. The market will be open for those who would like to purchase flowers, produce, spring décor and baked goods.
