2nd Place20062nd Place Winner * Sharon Reed CHOCOLATE – FUDGE STRAWBERRY CAKE SUPREME
Chocolate Cake:
2 eggs 1 Cup milk 2 Cups flour 1 Cup hot coffee (Starbucks) ½ Cup melted shortening 1 tsp vanilla 2 Cups granulated sugar pinch of salt ¾ Cup cocoa 2 tsp baking powder 2 tsp baking soda
Put all ingredients into a bowl and mix about 2 minutes. Pour into two 9 inch cake pans. Batter will be thin. Bake at 350’ for 25-30 minutes.
Hot Fudge Topping:
1 can sweetened condensed milk 2 cups Hershey’s Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips ¾ cup milk
In heavy saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, milk and sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until chocolate is melted and mixture is hot.
To assemble cake, put fudge topping on top of the first cake layer; then layer whipped topping and strawberries. Place second cake on top of strawberries and repeat with fudge sauce, whipped cream and strawberries.

2 – 8oz Cream Cheese 1 Cup Sour Cream 2 tsp. Vanilla ½ Pint Whipping Cream 2 pts, Strawberry’s 4 Tab. Sugar 1 Angel Food Cake Mix Together: Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, 1tsp. Vanilla and Whipped Whipping Cream. Fold in cream cheese mixture and the angel food cake ( cut in 1” x 1”) cubes. Put aside. Mix together: Sliced strawberries, Sugar and 1tsp. Vanilla. Layer: Starting with strawberries, ending with strawberries.
